Perioperative/OR Supervisor – Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas is seeking a Perioperative/OR Supervisor to lead surgical staff, manage supplies, and oversee sterile processing operations.

• Supervise staff in accordance with policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Assist in scrub and circulator roles as needed; oversee supply and equipment requirements for cases.
• Coordinate new staff orientation, staff evaluation, timekeeping, and project management tasks assigned by the Director.
• Lead the Sterile Processing Department and manage daily SPD activities.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.

• Current Texas Nursing License.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS required within 60 days of hire.

• Three (3) years of surgery experience as circulator or scrub tech preferred.
• Two (2) years of surgery management experience in a service coordinator or charge position preferred.

• Independent decision‑making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, families, and vendors.
• Knowledge of hospital policies and operating room procedures.
• Knowledge of TDH, Medicare, and Joint Commission rules & regulations.
• Ability to make independent sound nursing and management decisions.
• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and plans for age‑specific needs of surgical patients and families.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Care Record for documentation, chart audit, and reviews.
