Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location:

Irving, TX – The Villages on Mac Arthur

Provide an 8‑hour shift of personal care for residents, assisting the charge nurse and contributing to interdisciplinary teamwork at a long‑term and rehabilitative care facility.

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to safety and comfort consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at beginning and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with procedures for safe lifting and safe transfer of residents per established policies.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
