The Nursing Supervisor ensures high quality, patient‑centered nursing care through oversight of a specific shift or segment of operations. The Nursing Supervisor monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, models a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values, and creates an environment to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

• Participates in the monitoring and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. Implements evidence‑based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Models, promotes, and holds staff accountable for providing consistent, positive interactions that create an unparalleled patient experience. Ensures adherence to standards of care.
• Fosters interdisciplinary communication and collaboration within and across departments to meet patient care needs.
• Participates in interviews, selection, onboarding and training of staff.
• Assumes responsibility for the daily management of staff, including operational supervision, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Oversees staff scheduling and maintains staffing in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
• Ensures equipment maintenance is performed regularly and according to regulatory and/or accreditation standards.
• Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
• Represents the organization positively within the community; participates in company‑supported community/patient events and in‑services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
