Overview
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing home health clinical services, ensuring quality and adequacy of care, supervising staff, and maintaining adherence to optimal standards.
Responsibilities
- Care for individuals based on their personalized Plan of Care, inform the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel of changes in the client’s conditions and needs.
- Counsel clients and family through the care process, treatments, expectations, indications, precautions, and provide detailed support while maintaining privacy and dignity with each client. Maintain communication with designated family members on a regular basis.
- Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Participate in agency performance improvement activities and stay informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands‑on nursing experience.
- Wound care experience is a plus; proficiency in IV skills, blood draw, central line maintenance, including access/de‑access, aseptic technique, and identification of infection risks/signs and symptoms (with willingness to receive training).
- Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas.
- Experience with infusions.
- Experience performing nursing assessments.
- Reliable vehicle with auto insurance, clean background and criminal record.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Adherence to HIPAA and maintaining client confidentiality.
