Job Overview

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Irving as a Registered Nurse in the NICU. Our NICU is a fast‑paced environment with high acuity patients. Our leadership team fosters learning, mentoring, and collaboration.

Shift Schedule

3 night shifts per week, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.

Patient Population

Care for newborns greater than 32 weeks gestation on bubble, CPAP, lines, meds, admission, discharge, etc.

Patient Ratios

1:1 to 3.

Number of Beds

10 beds.

Department Specifics

Level II NICU. Self‑scheduling. Neonatologist on call 24/7. Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in‑house 24/7. We foster a culture of belonging, teamwork, and a family‑like environment.

Registered Nurse Requirements
  • 2 years of RN experience in NICU nursing
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • RN license / certification
  • BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
