Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care (LTC)
Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN is responsible for administering medications, monitoring resident conditions, documenting care, and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes in condition to the RN or healthcare provider.
- Perform routine nursing procedures, including wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection.
- Assess and document vital signs, pain levels, and resident responses to treatment.
