Corner Stone Medical is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at a state‑of‑the‑art acute care hospital in beautiful Irving, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast‑paced maternity setting and is passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the birthing experience.
Schedule- 3 day Shifts per Week (7:00 am– 7:00 pm)
- Weekends required
- on-call optional
- Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum process.
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well‑being and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with nursing standards and hospital policies.
- Advocate for patients while promoting a safe, compassionate, and therapeutic care environment.
Required
- Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NRP Certification
- BSN Required
Preferred
- LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) experience
- STABLE Certification
- RNC-OB or C-EFM
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Experience managing high-risk obstetric patients
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team
- Commitment to delivering safe, patient-centered care
