Assistant Nurse Manager – Cath Lab

Position Overview

An Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, supporting clinical excellence, safety, and service standards. The role involves functioning as a staff nurse or relief charge nurse and assuming leadership responsibilities as delegated by the Nurse Manager.

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing school
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
• Current CPR certification and valid nursing license
• National certification in specialty area or willingness to obtain within a year
• Coaching, mentoring, and strong communication skills
• Proficient in computer use and adaptable to new software
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information, demonstrate flexibility, and work collaboratively
• Understanding of legal and regulatory nursing requirements

• Communicate effectively to foster collaboration
• Build relationships and promote a positive team environment
• Ensure quality, safety, and patient experience improvements
• Participate in hiring, training, evaluation, and unit planning
Monitor clinical quality, compliance, and documentation standards
• Coordinate unit-based education and clinical quality initiatives
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and real-time feedback to staff
• Lead special projects and support continuous improvement efforts
