The main purpose of the
QC Specialist
position is to provide support to the Quality Control department through various job functions.
Location: Texas, Irving - Onsite
Responsibilities & Duties:Receiving, Quarantining and Releasing Products
- Chemical bulk receipt processing,inspection and release.
- Device bulk receipt processing,inspection and release.
- Maintain Quarantine Areas.
Calibration and Maintenance
- Maintain calibration and maintenance schedules.
- Schedule calibration and maintenance services.
- Monitor environmental conditions throughout location.
Quality Events and Document Control
- Perform investigations (Deviations, NCMRs, CAPAs, SCARs).
- Initiate Change Controls.
- Quality review of documents.
- File and organization of various documentation when assigned.
- Support functions of QC Inspectors andassistwhen requested.
- Education:
Associates/Bachelor’sdegree in a Science related field or relevant pharmaceutical experience. - Experience:
Minimum one (1) year experience in Quality Control environment. - Proven decision making and problem solving skills; applies judgment.
- Detail oriented isa must.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) required;
Syspro/Master Controlan asset. - Ability to lift to 60 lbs.
