Quality Control Technician (Aircraft Parts)
Location: Irving, TX
Work Type: Onsite
Schedule: Monday to Friday, regular business hours
Contract Type: 12 months with potential extension based on performance and business needs

About the RoleThe ideal candidate has strong inspection and documentation experience, with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of aircraft parts, quality compliance, and non‑conformance processes.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect customer orders to ensure the correct parts are included and meet quality standards.
- Review parts to determine the required FAA approval and documentation.
- Complete and verify required shipping and quality documents, including FAA Form 8130-3 and ATA 106 certificates.
- Confirm all paperwork, certifications, and customer requirements are complete and accurate before orders are released.
- Follow company procedures, aviation regulations, and customer quality standards to ensure every order is processed correctly.
- Minimum 1 year of quality assurance or aerospace inspection experience is required
- 1–2 years of experience using SAP.
- Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, ring/pin gauges, comparator, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of QA procedures and standards, including First Article Inspection.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and general PC use.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing or distribution inspection.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 requirements.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Export Compliance: Must meet "U.S. Person" definition (U.S. Citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
- Overtime may be required.
