Qualifications- Display positive attitude and teamwork skills.
- Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test.
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day, and frequently bend, lift, and twist.
- Must be available to work overtime as required.
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
Conduct product sampling and chemical, microbiological, and physical testing.
- Basic comprehension of speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Write neatly and clearly on all paperwork.
- Basic computer operation and upkeep.
- Understand and retain all Brakebush Irving, Inc. training programs (specifically quality and food safety).
- Maintain and clean assigned tools.
- Complete all required paperwork and database entries accurately and timely.
- Communicate deviations from the process or specification to direct report.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (addition, subtraction, percentages, multiplication, and/or division).
- Basic understanding of quality control (acceptable vs. unacceptable).
- Place product on hold and complete the Hold Tag process accurately and timely.
- Communicate with management regarding production, safety, and employee relations concerns.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support production demands.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent. Entry-level experience.
Working ConditionsHigh noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment, and dust may be present. Employees will wear personal protective equipment as necessary or required.
