Qualifications:

Display positive attitude andteam work skills. Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability tofrequentlybend, lift and twist. Must be able and available to work overtime as required.

Job Summary:

Essential duties & responsibilities include the following:
Conducts product sampling as well as chemical, microbiological & physical testing.

Essential Functions:

Basic comprehension of speaking, reading & writing in English

Canwrite neatly and clearly on allpaper-work.

Show basic understanding of how to use andoperatea computer (and take care of).

Show comprehension andknowlegeretention of all Brakebush Irving, Inc. training programs (specifically quality and food safety).

Canbe responsible forhaving,maintaining and cleaning assigned tools

Can complete all requiredpaperworkand database entries accurately andin a timely manner.

Can communicate to direct report when there are deviations from the process or specification.

Show basic understanding of mathematics (addition, subtraction, percentages,multiplication and/or division).

Have a basic understanding of quality control (acceptable vs. unacceptable).

Can place product on Hold and complete the Hold Tag process inan accurateandtimelymanner.

Communicating with management when there are concerns with the following:
Production Safety Employee Relations

Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customeror client.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education :
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience :
Entry-level .

Other Requirements :

Working Conditions:

High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Employees will wear personal protective equipment as necessary or required.
