Summary
The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager in overseeing daily operations, financial performance, and resident relations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is goal-oriented, especially in collections and delinquency management. Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily property operations and act in the Manager’s absence
- Collect rent, manage delinquency, and maintain accurate resident ledgers
- Perform leasing duties including tours and move-in/move-out inspections
- Respond to resident inquiries and resolve concerns professionally
Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up for completion - Attend eviction court and understand the eviction process (TAA compliant)
- Conduct daily property walks and inspect vacant units
- 2+ years of property management or related experience preferred
- Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and property management software
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
