Research Associate, Research Scientist, Data Scientist

Overview

The position is for Darling's Rousselot brand.

The Research Associate will support the activities of the Science & Innovation department and will play an important role in assisting with the management of clinical trials execution, the coordination of projects with external partners and support projects management tasks to ensure timely execution and data management with team members. The Research Associate will participate in the Science team's activities to support internal and external stakeholders.

• Coordinate and administer clinical study projects with CROs under the supervision of the Senior Principal Scientist
• Liaise with CROs on project execution and provide appropriate support
• Build and maintain documents/files in compliance with study protocols and project management processes
• Support development, implementation and validation of required science approaches
• Contribute to literature reviews to stay updated on the latest research in nutrition and health
• Help with technical reports and product specifications preparation
• Monitor scientific trends and advancements

• Master's Degree in Health, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical, Food, Biomedical or related field
• Minimum 4 years of professional R&D experience
• Experience in clinical study conduct/organization
• Excellent level of written and oral English skills
• Experience in clinical research, preclinical research, or nutritional science

• Experience with peptide/protein biology is a plus
• Experience with statistics is a plus
• Knowledge of good clinical practices is a plus
• Experience with JD Edwards, Longview, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), PowerPoint and Excel
