Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Pay Range
: $18.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

About the role

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring proper temperatures and attractive presentation; tastes all prepared items.
• Maintains records from the area worked during service and follows established ticket procedures.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving; stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean; ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Performs duties safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Complies with safety and company policies, including use of protective equipment and proper lifting techniques.

• Prior experience as a cook is required.
