POSITION SUMMARY:

The Tortilla Clerk delivers quality customer service in a retail store environment. The individual is expected to be a role model of the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values. The clerk maintains inventory and department cleanliness for the department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Drive customer service

* Maintain product freshness

* Order inventory

* Package tortillas, chips, tostadas and all other products in the department

* Ensure coolers are cleaned and organized

* Maintain cooler temperature logs

* Maintain cleanliness of tortilla machine

SKILLS AND

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma or equivalent;

* Basic kitchen skills; tortilleria department experience a plus.

* Valid Food Handlers Card;

* Bilingual in English and Spanish

CONDITIONS:

The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Some requirements may be modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities:

* WALKING:
Continuously, throughout shift, while moving about the store and handling merchandise.

* STANDING:
Continuously, throughout shift.

* LIFTING:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
