Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Irving, TX 75062

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organizational and time‑management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, support seasonal resets and installations, and occasionally work with other company products in the stores you serve.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You’ll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role consists of three major components:

  • Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. You communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your stores.
  • Holiday support: Leading up to and following holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), you can expect additional days and extended hours. On occasions such as Valentine’s, Mother’s, and Father’s Day, you may be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends.
  • Department resets: You may be part of a team installing and relocating Hallmark fixtures, card departments, and products. Typical remodel assignments are notified two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
  • Team support: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you support other merchandisers as needed across territories.
  • Physical Requirements

    This is a physically demanding job requiring a high level of energy and urgency. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.

    Basic Qualifications
    • At least 18 years of age.
    • Reading, writing, and understanding English.
    • Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Can operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
    • Has Wi‑Fi network and internet access.
    • Has reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores on schedule.
