Assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and assist customers on the store floor as needed. The Utilities Clerk will properly bag groceries for customers when needed, carry out groceries upon request, and maintain store cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities include maintaining and retrieving store carts, running price checks, assisting with go‑backs and check stand upkeep, and removing waste from the parking area.
Qualifications- Read and write Spanish/English and interact with the general public and co‑workers.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
