POSITION OVERVIEW

The Omni-Channel Merchandising Manager is responsible for leading the merchandising strategy and operational execution of licensed apparel and accessories across multiple brands and retail channels. This role serves as the primary bridge between Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure products move successfully from concept through customer delivery.

The ideal candidate combines merchandising expertise, operational excellence, financial acumen, and strong cross‑functional leadership. This individual will oversee assortment planning, buying, inventory management, product execution, marketing support, and operational processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and drive profitable growth.

QUALIFICATIONS Required
  • 5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Buying, Product Management, Brand Management, or Operations within the apparel, accessories, or consumer products industry.
  • Experience developing seasonal assortment plans and executing merchandise strategies.
  • Strong understanding of trend analysis, category planning, and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience managing inventory planning and margin performance.
  • Experience placing purchase orders and managing product allocations.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale and omni‑channel retail environments.
  • Experience coordinating with Product Development, Design, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while meeting aggressive deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Self‑motivated with a collaborative, team‑first mindset.
Preferred
  • Experience working with licensed brands and entertainment properties.
  • Experience in apparel, accessories, footwear, or consumer products.
  • Experience with ERP, PLM, or inventory management systems.
  • Experience supporting Print‑on‑Demand (POD) operations.
  • Experience managing trade shows and retail marketing initiatives.
  • Familiarity with inventory replenishment and wholesale fulfillment processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
  • Lead the merchandising strategy and operational execution for assigned licensed brands across wholesale and omni‑channel retail partners.
  • Develop seasonal assortment plans through trend analysis, category performance, customer insights, and product opportunities while managing quarterly style and unit planning.
  • Execute buying activities, including purchase order placement, inventory planning, margin optimization, and product allocation to support financial and inventory objectives.
  • Partner closely with Product Development, Design, Sourcing, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure products move efficiently through the entire product lifecycle from concept and development through production, launch, and fulfillment.
  • Manage product development timelines, approvals, sample coordination, and priority escalations to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet business deadlines.
