We are looking for a Senior Oracle Cloud Enterprise Cloud Account Manager (CAM) for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI - IaaS). This specialized "hunting and farming" sales role focuses on driving the adoption of Oracle's public and private cloud IaaS solutions within large, enterprise-level accounts. The role requires acting as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, helping clients transition from traditional on-premises infrastructure to Oracle Cloud's pay-as-you-go model.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Target Achievement: Manage the business to achieve or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives for OCI (compute, storage, databases).
- Relationship Management: Develop, maintain, and grow strategic partnerships with key decision-makers (C-level) at large enterprises.
- Account Strategy & Planning: Create comprehensive account plans to support short- and long-term goals, identifying new opportunities while farming existing accounts.
- Pipeline & Forecasting: Utilize Oracle sales tools for lead generation, cold calling, qualification, and accurate monthly/quarterly forecasting.
- Complex Sales Management: Navigate long, complex sales cycles to deliver high-volume, high-value IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS solutions.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a customer advocate to provide guidance on product expertise and translate requirements into solutions, collaborating with internal technical teams.
- Experience: 12+ years of relevant sales experience in IT software, technology, or cloud solutions, with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of OCI (Infrastructure as a Service) components, including compute, storage, and networking.
- Negotiation & Closing: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to close complex deals.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a highly competitive, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), with a technical degree or MBA preferred.
