Sales Representative, Sales Manager
Sunbrella, a brand of Glen Raven, Inc. is recruiting for a Sunbrella Brand Ambassador. This field‑based role will represent our flagship Sunbrella® brand and build constructive relationships with partners in an assigned territory, identifying retail and end‑user–focused partners such as furniture stores, design studios, marine & shade fabricators, and others. The ambassador will educate partners on the breadth of Sunbrella products and encourage increased use of Sunbrella fabrics in the products they sell or specify.
Responsibilities:- Represent the Sunbrella® brand to current and potential partners in the assigned territory, including furniture stores, design studios, marine fabricators, awning shops, and other relevant businesses.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Sunbrella brand, products, and offerings.
- Meet regularly with partners, develop ongoing relationships, and advocate for increased use of Sunbrella products.
- Enhance the presence of Sunbrella at partner locations by ensuring up‑to‑date selling materials such as sample tools, brochures, and signage.
- Conduct product demonstrations and educate audiences at trade shows, customer locations, and other events.
- Resolve customer complaints and opportunities by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
- Develop call reports and other reports as requested by the manager.
- Understand the competition and provide summarized insights and recommendations to the broader Sunbrella team.
- Drive to partner sites and other locations for meetings and events, including frequent overnight stays (anticipated at least 50%) to maximize the number of meetings per day or week.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent education and training.
- Up to 2 years in field sales or a similar role.
