Sales Representative, Business Development
Job Summary
As a Sales Executive II you will engage directly with Apartment & Builder Sales, including Multimfamily PM’s and Home Builders, to locate, negotiate, and close Commodity deals for common areas, Continuous Service Agreements (CSAs), and Partner Marketing Agreements (PMAs) primarily in the non‑ERCOT markets. Your sales will meet or exceed company profit guidelines while adhering to all company and regulatory guidelines.
KeyAccountabilities
- Establish business and brand equity in new markets in the ERCOT business territory.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales and gains goals through pricing, contract generation, cold calling, and other sales efforts with customers and/or their brokers.
- Develop and deploy sales and marketing strategies in compliance with operational and regulatory guidelines, while meeting company growth goals and profitability objectives.
- Provide feedback to the Products, Pricing, Operations and P&L teams on product mix, pricing, margins, marketing efforts, customer service and customer incentives.
- Ensure the product suite for the channels is competitive in the marketplace while meeting or exceeding profitability requirements.
- 8 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years selling and/or servicing the Multi‑Family/Home builder segments or energy‑related sales experience.
- Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications applicable to the above skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills.
- HS Diploma or equivalency required.
- Closing Apartment & Builder Sales agreements that include:
- Common Areas (Term CM and Volume)
- CSAs
- PMAs
- Growing the number of residential customers through execution of PMA agreements.
- Growing the number of residential meters through execution of CSA agreements, as applicable.
