Role OverviewMicroAI is seeking a driven and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help accelerate pipeline growth and expand market presence across strategic industries including telecom, industrial, manufacturing, and defense.
This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who has experience selling technology solutions and is eager to grow within the AI and enterprise technology space. The SDR will play a critical role in outbound prospecting, lead generation, account research, and identifying opportunities for MicroAI’s AI-driven platform solutions
Key Responsibilities- Attend major technology trade shows and conventions (e.g., CES, MWC, etc) to represent Micro.ai and showcase our solutions
- Promote and sell Micro.ai’s AI/ML platform offerings to enterprise and industrial customers in B2B environments
- Drive proactive outbound prospecting through cold calling
, email outreach, and social selling - Convert event and outbound interactions into qualified leads and schedule meetings/demos
- Maintain accurate CRM pipeline management and deliver timely sales reporting
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to optimize outreach strategy
- You’re confident and persistent when cold calling and creating opportunities from scratch
- You communicate complex technology clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
- You’re driven by goals and love celebrating the wins that push revenue forward
- You contribute directly to growing the sales pipeline and accelerating company momentum
- 3–5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Field Sales, or Event-Based Selling
- Proven experience selling SaaS or technology solutions.
- Solid track record generating new opportunities from cold outreach and event engagements
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- CRM proficiency and strong PowerPoint + Excel capability
- Highly motivated, competitive, and comfortable with performance metrics
- Exposure to AI, SaaS, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, telecom, or industrial technologies
- Experience selling into telecom, manufacturing, industrial, utilities, or defense sectors
- Understanding of concepts such as predictive maintenance, observability, network monitoring, or infrastructure analytics
- Experience attending or supporting industry trade shows and technology conferences
- Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Business Management, degree or equivalent
- IT or Sales certifications are a plus
