Sales Consultant, Amarillo

Overview

Johnson Brothers is a leading family‑owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer. We are seeking a Sales Consultant to service on‑premise and retail stores across a defined sales territory.

• Manage sales territory, ensuring consistent customer contact and prudent sales initiatives.
• Handle customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Sell, service and merchandise products; present effective sales presentations.
• Achieve assigned company objectives and grow business.
• Identify and nurture new accounts.
• Use POS systems and apply merchandising best practices: display size and location, shelf position, cold boxes, counters, windows, etc.
• Perform inventory checks and product rotation to minimize order mistakes.
• Adhere to company policies, complete paperwork timely and accurately.

• BA/BS degree or related industry experience.
• Route sales experience (highly preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Goal‑driven and results oriented.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.
• Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).
