Inside Sales Rep

Under general supervision, a telephone-based outbound/inbound sales role that is responsible for generating revenue (i.e., growing share of wallet) and/or profit margin in small to mid-sized accounts.

Understands the selling process and implements tactics to expand sales volume and profit margin within the assigned customer base. Achieves sales growth and profit objectives through the development, implementation, and monitoring of an annual sales plan.

Selects and communicates product offer based on customer needs and is able to express the value of Fleet Pride.

Asks questions related to current promotions and opportunities highlighted in customer relationship management (CRM) system and marketing material. Establishes trust, gains customer commitment and executes offer.

Ensures local account needs are met (i.e., consistent pricing, replenishment, billing, etc.)Documents action items in CRM system and follows up in a timely manner through means of telephone and person-to-person contact to drive customer retention and growth

Understands the product offering and up-sell potential of related parts. Uses available resources to continue product knowledge training. Communicates with vendors and suppliers via computer, phone, and fax for assistance.

Works to ensure high customer satisfaction. Serves as point of contact for escalating issues that the customer encounters during product implementation/utilization. Expedites the resolution of customer problems/complaints.

Must be a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who can work effectively with a variety of people. The incumbent will possess the ability to multi-task, remain extremely organized, and be able to develop relationships with current and potential customers.
