Position Summary

This senior leadership role is responsible for protecting and advancing associate engagement and the company's reputation through clear, credible, and strategically aligned communications. This individual serves as a trusted advisor to the executive team and operates effectively across a global matrix organization - aligning national, Business Unit and functional communications with company priorities while navigating competing stakeholder needs. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring equal command of detailed strategy and on-the-ground execution.

The successful candidate brings deep experience communicating to and through large, distributed and frontline work forces and is equally at home advising executives, directing a crisis response, or developing communications that reach a manufacturing floor.

Education & Work History
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field required.
  • 15 years of progressive communications experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role at a large, complex organization (10,000+ associates).
  • Demonstrated experience developing frontline and associate communications strategies in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or similarly distributed environments.
  • Proven ability to navigate and influence in a global matrix organization, building alignment without direct authority.
  • Track record leading crisis response and protecting organizational reputation in regulated or high-scrutiny environments.
Technical Skills
  • Deep experience driving communications through enterprise transformation and significant organizational change.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills; strong executive presence and ability to influence at the highest levels.
  • Experience in CPG, manufacturing, or another complex, consumer-facing industry preferred.
