Entry Level Sales Consultant

Paychex seeks an Entry Level Sales Consultant to help small and midsize businesses access payroll, HR, and insurance solutions. In this client-facing role, you'll prospect and qualify new leads, conduct discovery calls, and deliver consultative presentations on our finance and insurance offerings. You'll build a sales pipeline, track activity in CRM tools, and partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify small and midsize business leads for payroll, HR, and benefits solutions
• Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs in finance, insurance, and HR services
• Deliver consultative sales presentations and product demonstrations virtually and on-site
• Build and manage a sales pipeline, tracking activity and results in CRM systems
• Collaborate with marketing and service teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and activity targets
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Paychex products, pricing, and compliance-related offerings
• Provide responsive follow-up, proposals, and basic contract support to prospective clients
