Staffing Sales Manager

Account Manager / Business Development / Sales Specialist

Outside sales and business development role. Includes: cold calling, new prospect management, existing account management

The Account Manager's primary responsibility is to produce and lead. You will be responsible for generating qualified job orders from top companies. You will be held accountable for business development and sales performance by delivering qualified candidates to fulfill job requisitions. In order to achieve this you are responsible for building strong relationships with hiring managers and other client representatives.

Job Summary

• Implementation of sales strategy, communications, and client relations and activities
• This position is responsible for bringing staffing services directly to clients and prospects by engaging in cold calls, account management, follow-up and client sourcing

Essential Job Functions

• Prospect, cold call, prepare proposals, negotiate fees, conduct presentations, and qualify prospects to acquire a variety of temporary and direct hire positions.
• Document contact information daily
• Generate sales call log and reports weekly and monthly
• Types of positions serviced:
  Administrative/Clerical, Accounting/Finance, Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Warehouse, Call Center, Customer Service, Light Industrial and IT.

Required Qualifications

• 2+yrs in outside sales position – preferably in staffing industry
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to meet and exceed required goals and expectations
• Professional demeanor both on the phone and in person
• Proven outside sales track record
• PC knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Must possess:
Excellent closing skills, motivation for sales, prospecting skills, sales planning, market knowledge, presentation skills, high energy level, and ability to meet sales goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in temporary staffing industry for clerical and warehouse positions
