As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Irving, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast‑paced transportation location as an unarmed officer in a role that includes driving responsibilities. You will patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and support travelers, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication.

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, operational spaces, and the perimeter, as assigned, noting unusual activity and reporting security‑related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized entry, verify credentials when required, and follow post orders related to visitor and personnel movement.
  • Support crowd management, queue observation, and high‑traffic area coverage during busy travel periods, helping maintain orderly operations and addressing customer questions and/or concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
