Security Officer Warehouse

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including the warehouse floor, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.

* Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as required, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

* Support shipping and receiving operations by observing trailer yards, dock areas, and high-traffic routes for security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding incidents and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

* Alarm panel experience is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
