As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol in Irving, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Day‑time schedule:
Mon 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Tues 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Sat 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
Sun 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, yard, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers, following post orders and reporting suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or policy violations.
• Observe site operations and report hazards, maintenance issues, and/or operational disruptions that could affect people, property, or business activity.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 + years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
