As a Standing Security Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the premises you oversee. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a professional presence and demeanor at all times.
• Monitoring and patrolling assigned areas while remaining alert and observant.
• Responding promptly and effectively to incidents or emergencies.
• Using verbal de‑escalation techniques to resolve conflicts and reduce tension.
• Remaining calm and professional in high‑stress or fast‑paced situations.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and Texas law when addressing security concerns.
• Standing and remaining on foot for extended periods throughout your shift.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following qualifications and skills:

• Valid Texas DPS Security License (or the ability to obtain one).
• 1 year of experience in a security or related role.
• Reliable transportation to and from your assigned location.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A professional appearance and demeanor.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• The ability to stand for extended periods and remain alert throughout your shift.
• Strong conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills, with a focus on using communication as the primary tool for resolving confrontations.
