As a Security Officer Patrol Responder in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, respond to site needs, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activity support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor site activity involving deliveries, shipments, and/or vehicle traffic, following post instructions for screening, logging, and communicating security-related information as needed.

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
