Aviation Technician Job Description
As an Aviation Technician, you will perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections, line maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. You will carry out scheduled inspections such as 100-hour, annual, major/minor checks according to manufacturer/service timelines. Additionally, you will execute unscheduled repairs, diagnose malfunctions in hydraulic, structural, pneumatic, electrical systems, procure and verify parts, and perform necessary removals. Using and maintaining the company's maintenance tracking system, such as CAMP and Traxxall, will be a vital part of logging work performed.
Responsibilities- Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
- Conduct line maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections.
- Execute unscheduled repairs and diagnose malfunctions in various systems.
- Procure and verify parts for repairs and perform necessary removals.
- Use and maintain maintenance tracking systems like CAMP and Traxxall.
- A&P license
- Experience in aircraft maintenance and repair
- Proficient in using multimeters and understanding blueprints
- Experience with corporate aircraft such as Falcon, Hawker, and Cessna
- 3-5 years of experience in fixed-wing aircraft, especially Textron planes
- Expertise in heavy maintenance, troubleshooting, and aviation maintenance
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Gulfstream and Beechcraft aircraft
- Knowledge in sheet metal work and power plant mechanics
- Proficiency in avionics and phase maintenance

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a climate-controlled hangar at Meacham Airport, offering a personal office space. You will be working with advanced aviation technologies in a supportive and professional environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
