Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Technician to maintain and service industrial equipment, control systems, and power distribution systems within our facility. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repair, and ensuring compliance with safety and GMP standards.

Pay: $25/hr

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including motors, gearboxes, compressors, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Troubleshoot and work with VFDs, electrical components, and plant wiring.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures and follow all safety and GMP requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs using CMMS/work order systems.
• Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers as needed.
• Weld and use cutting torch for metal fabrication when required.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of PLC systems and automated equipment.
• Ability to lift, move materials, and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work any shift as required.
