Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking an experienced Finisher – Concrete (Dallas, TX). We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us.

The Concrete Finisher is responsible for smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, and sidewalks to specified textures using hand tools or power tools such as floats, trowels, and screeds. Tasks include signalling the concrete deliverer, positioning the truck, discharging concrete into forms, spreading into inaccessible sections, leveling to specified depth, bringing water to the surface, producing a soft topping, smoothing and shaping freshly poured concrete, finishing with power trowels, wet‑rubbing with abrasive stone, removing rough or defective spots with grinders or chisels, patching holes with fresh concrete or epoxy, molding expansion joints and edges, and optionally sprinkling colored stone chips or coloring powder to produce a prescribed finish.

• Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections
• Assist the paving crew with site preparation and any other activity as needed
• Participate as a vital team member, contributing towards Austin’s success
• Attend daily safety meetings
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Work hours are adjusted to meet the project’s needs, including days, nights, and weekends
• Work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
• Other duties as assigned

• 1+ years of experience operating asphalt equipment
• Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety
• Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices
