Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic
Fleet Mechanic III - Irving, TX
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, vans, and forklifts. Disassemble and overhaul motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends, and electrical systems. Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records. Manage ordering and inventory of parts. Mentor class I & II mechanics.
Shift and Schedule- Monday through Friday
- 2:00pm until 10:30pm or finished
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
We are looking for a self‑motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment. You have great communication skills, are a problem solver with technical aptitude, and a willingness to keep learning.
Total RewardsPay starting at $33.76 per hour, increasing to $35.58 per hour in the quarter after the 6‑month anniversary.

- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- 1 year or more of mechanic experience on a fleet
- Ability to work on all types of vehicles (diesel trucks, electric and propane forklift, etc.)
- Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Able to supply your own set of tools to perform the job
- Willing and able to acquire the necessary certifications and licenses within the first year of employment, including: ASE Heavy and Medium duty certification, DOT Commercial Driver’s License (CDL
A), DOT brake and annual inspection certification, and A/C certification
