CAS Commercial Pool Equipment Installation Technician

Type: Full-Time

• Install commercial pool equipment including chemical feed systems, controllers, pumps, valves, sensors, and associated plumbing.
• Read and interpret installation drawings, specifications, manuals, and site plans.
• Perform basic water testing, interpret and adjust control equipment.
• Coordinate on-site work with customers, general contractors, electricians, plumbers, and internal service teams.
• Ensure installations comply with local codes, safety requirements, and manufacturer standards.
• Perform system startups, calibration, leak testing, and operational verification.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues during and after startup.
• Document completed installations, commissioning results, and as built conditions.
• Train customers or site personnel on basic system operation and safety.
• Maintain installations tools, vehicles, PPE, and inventory.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and jobsite requirements at all times.
• Provide feedback to engineering, sales, and service teams on installations challenges or improvements.
• Travel is 100%.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience installing or servicing commercial pool equipment, industrial equipment, or related mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of plumbing systems (PVC, CPVC, valves, fittings).
• Basic electrical knowledge (low‑voltage controls, sensors, interlocks).
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and work in mechanical rooms and outdoor environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial pool industry experience (hotels, resorts, aquatic centers, casinos, healthcare, or municipal facilities).
• Pool Operator, CPO, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with chemical feed and control systems.
• Familiarity with local health department or pool code requirements.
• OSHA safety training or similar field safety certifications.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and work in confined or wet mechanical environments.
• Work may include indoor and outdoor installations in varying weather conditions.
