  • Support resolution of on-site issues and assist in managing crew-level disputes.
  • Communicate site conditions and constraints to the Construction Manager, including resourcing, site services, and materials.
  • Manage crew timesheets and ensure accuracy of daily reporting.
  • Promote and uphold Aecon’s safety culture, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety standards.
What You Bring to the Team:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of substation field experience, including at least 1+ year in a Subforeman or leadership capacity, with hands‑on experience across key substation scopes.
  • Foundation installation in line with engineered specifications.
  • Conduit installation and routing within substation environments.
  • Ground grid installation and grounding systems.

  • Bus work installation with proper clearances and fit‑up.
  • Low‑voltage cable installation, termination, and wiring.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Experience working in brownfield environments, including protection grounding, is considered an asset, along with exposure to substation energization and commissioning/start‑up activities.
  • Collaborative, solution‑oriented team player with a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
