Reliant Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced HVAC Technical Training Manager to lead and expand our state‑of‑the‑art training academy in Irving, Texas. This role is critical to developing the next generation of HVAC professionals while elevating the technical and customer service capabilities of our existing workforce.

As the leader of our training programs, you will be responsible for leading, delivering, and continuously enhancing technical training programs that prepare entry‑level technicians for successful field careers while supporting the ongoing development of experienced technicians across the organization.

At the center of this role is Reliant’s Hero Tech Academy, our intensive hands‑on technician development program designed specifically for individuals new to the HVAC industry. Whether a student enters with no experience or limited experience, the Academy equips them with the technical skills, field readiness, and customer communication capabilities needed to succeed in residential HVAC.

The program is built around practical application, with approximately 70% of training focused on hands‑on learning and field readiness, ensuring graduates develop strong troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and customer service skills before entering the field.

In addition to leading the Academy, this role partners with operational leaders to support technician career progression, identify skill gaps, and ensure our workforce remains prepared for continued growth.
