Trades ​/ Skilled Labor Technician, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Technician to join a growing Washer Service Team in the Irving, Texas. In this role, you’ll be working alongside experienced technicians to service and maintain commercial washing machines in restaurants. This is a great opportunity for someone who isn’t afraid to put in the effort and is looking to build a long-term career with growth potential.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, eager to learn, and motivated to grow into a technician role with significant earning potential.

As a Technician/Trainee, you’ll be responsible for:

Assisting technicians with the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial washing machines

Loading, unloading, and moving equipment and tools

Hnds-on technical skills from experienced team members

Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

Supporting delivery, installation, and general field operations

Demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn the trade

What you’ll need:

3–4+ years of technician experience

Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and troubleshooting equipment

Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR (no pending tickets)
Ability to pass a clean background check

Bilingual candidates encouragedCDL Class A/B/C is a strong plus (waives testing requirement for CDL

C)
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

Comfortable working in restaurant environments

Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus!

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Desire to grow into a technician role Perks:

Starting pay of $20/hour Career Growth Opportunities:
Within 3-6 months (once license is passed), eligible for a base salary of $55,000 - $60,000 + commissions. Able to get promoted to technician as soon as 3-6 months. Most first-year employees earn $60,000–$80,000

CDL License C will be provided/paid for. Study materials will be provided
