Role Description

The Fire Control Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Sunnyvale, TX, responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing fire control and fire suppression systems. Day-to-day work includes troubleshooting system issues, performing routine preventive maintenance, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations. The technician will interpret technical drawings and manuals, calibrate equipment, and verify system readiness for emergency response.

The role also involves collaborating with team members, communicating clearly with customers, maintaining accurate service records, and adhering to company safety and quality policies.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Fire Control and Fire Control Systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of relevant fire codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices in fire protection and life safety.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including ability to read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and follow detailed procedures.
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or military training in fire control or related fields preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet any company background, drug screening, and physical requirements.
