Trades ​/ Skilled Labor Technician, Field​/Service Technician

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Technician to join a growing Washer Service Team in the Irving, Texas. In this role, you’ll be working alongside experienced technicians to service and maintain commercial washing machines in restaurants. This is a great opportunity for someone who isn’t afraid to put in the effort and is looking to build a long‑term career with growth potential.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, eager to learn, and motivated to grow into a technician role with significant earning potential.

• Assisting technicians with the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial washing machines
• Loading, unloading, and moving equipment and tools
• Hands‑on technical skills from experienced team members
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
• Supporting delivery, installation, and general field operations
• Demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn the trade

• 3–4+ years of technician experience
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and troubleshooting equipment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR (no pending tickets)
• Ability to pass a clean background check
• Bilingual candidates encouraged
• CDL Class A/B/C is a strong plus (waives testing requirement for CDL
  
  C)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Comfortable working in restaurant environments
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus!
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Desire to grow into a technician role

• Starting pay of $20/hour
• Career Growth Opportunities:
  Within 3-6 months (once license is passed), eligible for a base salary of $55,000 - $60,000 + commissions. Able to get promoted to technician as soon as 3-6 months. Most first‑year employees earn $60,000–$80,000
• CDL License C will be provided/paid for. Study materials will be provided

  Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
