Bilingual Case Worker; Part-Time

Duties include assisting victims of violent crime in assessing safety needs and lethality issues; identifying needed resources or referrals; serving victims’ advocate with investigators, prosecutors, social services agencies, leasing agents and other entities; and providing assistance filing claims with the Office of the Attorney General, and with completion and follow‑up of Crime Victims Compensation applications.

PAY GRADE GG14 / FULL PAY RANGE $2194 - $30.94 PER HOUR

• One year relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in psychology, counseling and guidance, social work or a related field.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) translation skills are essential; must demonstrate complete mastery of oral skills in both English and Spanish.
• Bilingual skills testing will be required.
• Grant funded position.
• Schedule may include some evening and weekend hours.
