Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join a team focused on building best-in-class digital experiences that help customers manage financial planning, investments, and retirement solutions. The role involves developing native Android applications using Kotlin or Java, with an emphasis on performance, accessibility, and user experience.
- Build omni-channel user experiences and the underlying mobile platforms.
- Develop complete features from concept to deployment as part of an agile, cross-functional team.
- Contribute ideas to enhance product quality and user experience.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA teams.
- 6+ years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin or Java.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Proficiency with Android SDK, Android Studio, and native development tools.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose (highly preferred).
- Expertise in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
- Experience with third-party libraries and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of Git and branching strategies.
- Experience optimizing Android applications for performance and responsiveness.
