Senior Android Developer – Irving, TX (Onsite)Location: Irving, TX 75063 - Local W2 Candidates Only
Duration: 6-Month Contract (possible extension or conversion to FTE)
Our direct client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Android to join their Digital Technology Team
. You’ll collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to build innovative mobile-first solutions that enhance customer experiences - from mobile payments to checkout and delivery.
- Design, develop, test, and release Android apps for the Google Play Store.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Apply SOLID principles
, MVVM architecture
, and Material Design best practices.
- 7+ years in software engineering, with deep expertise in Android app development (Kotlin & Java).
- Strong experience with REST APIs
, Retrofit
, Ok Http ,
Dependency Injection
, Unit/UI testing
, and CI/CD integration
. - Proven success building apps for a diverse Android device ecosystem.
