Senior .NET Developer Azure

As a Senior Developer you will work on various .NET, Angular, SQL Server and Serverless development projects. You will help teams in the delivery of projects ranging from Azure migrations to refactoring applications to an Azure based serverless architecture to adding features to a customer facing Angular application. You will help mentor developers across teams as they adopt Azure technologies and move existing .NET,

Angular and SQL Server instances to the Azure platform.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You have extensive experience working with Azure and .NET applications
• You have worked with teams of various sizes in an Agile environment
• You have a firm understanding of best practices for custom software development and enterprise architecture some examples would be:
  • Object Oriented Design Principles
  • SOLID Programming principles
  • SOA
  • CQRS
  • Etc.
• You have a sense of urgency and commitment to timelines and understand the importance of planning and tracking work for predictability in the enterprise
• You have worked on projects with both on and offshore team members and are comfortable coordinating with remote resources
• You have experience setting up Application Performance Monitoring at an enterprise level
• You have worked in an environment that fully embraces Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and are familiar with Dev Ops best practices

Applicants must have a strong background in Agile software development environment and experience managing and mentoring QA teams.

• 8+ years of experience working as a .NET developer
• Experience reviewing and pointing user stories
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and how they integrate with automated testing processes
• Familiarity with all Agile ceremonies

  • Sprint Planning
• Ability to work Onsite as part of a hybrid On/Offshore team
• Experience working with an agile project management tool (i.e. Azure Dev Ops, Rally, Jira/Confluent etc.)

Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a role that will be responsible for communicating with business stakeholders and executive leadership as well as internal teams.

• 4+ years minimum experience working on an agile team
• Experience working as a part of a custom software development team
• Experience with automated testing protocols

Additional Preferred Skills

• Experience working as a client facing consultant
• Experience working with customer facing applications with extensive coordinated testing. (i.e. Angular, Vue.js, React etc.)
