Scala Software Engineer

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 7+ years in Scala server backend development in Services (not Data Analytics)
• Solid experience and deep understanding of Scala programming, JVM, sbt.
• Candidate should be willing to embrace Pure Functional Programming with Scala.
• Development and Implementation of highly scalable, secure and concurrent software systems using HTTP, REST, Web Server, Caching, Resiliency, Responsive and Concurrency strategies
• At least one Scala Web Service SDK – Play , http4s , Spray or any other
• REST APIs
• Experience using Agile framework tools and methodologies.
• Experience in AWS Cloud Infrastructure (Preferred) or any other Cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux Operating Systems

• Experience with other Scala SDKs like Scala
  
  Z, Shapeless, CATS
• Experience in Docker containerization technologies
• Experience with No
  
  SQL databases (e.g. Cassandra, Mongo

• Experience with scripting/automation programming
