Job Description Must Have:- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 7+ years in Scala server backend development in Services (not Data Analytics)
- Solid experience and deep understanding of Scala programming, JVM, sbt.
- Candidate should be willing to embrace Pure Functional Programming with Scala.
- Development and Implementation of highly scalable, secure and concurrent software systems using HTTP, REST, Web Server, Caching, Resiliency, Responsive and Concurrency strategies
- At least one Scala Web Service SDK – Play , http4s , Spray or any other
- REST APIs
- Experience using Agile framework tools and methodologies.
- Experience in AWS Cloud Infrastructure (Preferred) or any other Cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Linux Operating Systems
- Experience with other Scala SDKs like Scala
Z, Shapeless, CATS - Experience in Docker containerization technologies
- Experience with No
SQL databases (e.g. Cassandra, Mongo
DB, Hbase) - Experience with scripting/automation programming
- Experience with some Performance testing tools/scripts – like Gatling, Jmeter
