Python Engineer

Overview

This is a development position for establishing and implementing new or revised applications and programs in the Technology team.

• Data extraction and data analysis from structured and unstructured sources. Develop systems to clean results to build predictive and prescriptive models and implement them in a production environment by partnering with technology and business partners. Address complex problems involving financial data with specific focus on credit risk management. Learn new models in LLM and GenAI and bring innovative solutions to complex business problems.
• Architect, design, and implement robust Python-based solutions. Resolve high-impact problems through evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Apply advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure design adheres to architecture blueprint. Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Experience in writing and using shell scripts and other Linux features. Implement Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development to ensure software quality and maintainability.

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing scalable and reliable machine learning systems for training, inference, monitoring, and iteration.
• Strong background in ML/DL/LLM algorithms, model architectures, and training techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, PySpark, Tensor Flow or other analytical/model-building programming languages.
• Proficiency with tools and LLMs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  Skills:
  
  Experience in GenAI/LLMs projects.
• Familiarity with distributed data/computing tools (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MySQL).
• Background in financial business domains such as banking and risk management.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree or University degree or equivalent experience in STEM.

• Working experience with Gemini LLM
• Hands-on knowledge of machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, Tensor Flow, Keras
• Hands-on knowledge of NLP
• Understanding of model deployment and containerization (Docker)
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Awareness of AI compliance, data privacy, and responsible AI principles

• Experience in using shell scripts and other Linux features
• Implement unit testing and TDD to ensure software quality and maintainability

Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000 per year
