Wipro Limited is a leading technology services and consulting company focusing on innovative solutions. We seek a Selenium Automation Engineer to work on cross‑functional agile project teams, ensuring quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities- Work as part of cross‑functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery.
- Design, develop, and support frameworks for our test infrastructure and provide automation expertise to our development teams.
- Contribute toward predictable delivery of quality releases.
- Research, recommend, and implement tools as needed to increase automation.
- Mentor team members on automation frameworks, manual testing, and API testing.
- Be meticulous about documentation and maintain a robust log of all test cases and results.
- Understand business functional requirements and create ATDD test scenarios.
- Develop and maintain reusable, data‑driven/modular automated test scripts in one or more of the following tools:
Selenium. - Work on sprint automation and develop test scripts for given user stories.
- Review and provide feedback on requirements and application functionality to improve software quality and create automated regression test scripts.
- Collaborate with functional QA team, create test plans, and perform test execution within sprints.
- Develop and update automated regression test scripts.
- Maintain object repositories, test data, and function libraries; conduct code reviews and provide feedback to automation team members and QA management.
- Investigate issues and provide analysis.
- Defect and trend tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Assist with creating and maintaining automation support documents surrounding standards, policies, procedures, and metrics.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Selenium automation testing with API automation (Rest Assured).
- Fundamental OOPS concepts and hands‑on programming in Java, with test script writing and test validations.
- Hands‑on advanced Java (Streams, Lambda) and API/Rest Assured testing.
- Experience with existing automation frameworks and writing reusable components on platforms such as web, mobile, and desktop; knowledge of Dev Ops tools (Jenkins, Git Hub, XL Deploy, Cucumber, Gherkin).
- Hands‑on coding experience in Core Java, J2EE ecosystem.
- Strong working knowledge of TDD & BDD.
- Strong experience in API testing and automation of API tests.
- Thorough understanding of SDLC and automated QA processes in Agile environments.
- Ability to understand requirements, do POC, estimation techniques, and manage automation delivery with team.
- Proficient working with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle‑PL/SQL.
- In‑depth knowledge of implementing test automation using Selenium.
- Knowledge of Spock is a huge plus.
- Knowledge of Maven, Jenkins, Git Hub, Docker, Rabbit
MQ, Open Shift. - Experience working with CI/CD and Dev Ops initiatives.
The expected compensation ranges from $60,000 to $135,000, depending on location, skills, and experience. The role is eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits, including medical and dental options, disability insurance, paid time off, and other leave options.
